The Agriresort Judeka is an eco-sustainable wine resort located in Sicily, spanning 38 hectares of organically farmed land, including 22 hectares of vineyards, taking advantage of the natural fertility of the soil, between the countryside of Caltagirone and the Val di Noto, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Located along the ancient Strada del Vino, in the San Mauro district, within a wine-growing area of fundamental importance for Sicily, where Sicily's only DOCG is cultivated: the Cerasuolo di Vittoria.
The facility has three levels: on the ground floor acozy and refined reception area that can host private events, surrounded outside by generous native vineyards and alarge terrace overlooking the vineyards. On the upper floor are three bright, comfortable rooms and a two-level apartment.
The basement houses the Judeka Winery, the production area for the fine Judeka wines, which are exported all over the world. The estate has a large organic vegetable garden and is a temple of biodiversity, where wild herbs grow naturally and each day become the raw materials that make up the rich offerings of the property's restaurant, Passo 65. The garden is located just 65 steps from the restaurant, hence its name Passo 65.
The farm is home to a precious olive grove, whose cultivar of excellence is the Tonda Iblea, which in this area assumes the appellation D.O.P, sought after for excellent culinary preparations in the best restaurants.
With this variety we produce our extra virgin olive oil, intended exclusively for our restaurant's own consumption. The production of the almond orchard , small citrus orchard and orchard complement our own raw materials used in the kitchen.

The Territory
Along the ancient Strada del Vino, in the San Mauro district of Caltagirone, stands the Agriresort Judeka.
This is avery important wine-growing area for Sicily whereSicily's only DOCG is grown: Cerasuolo di Vittoria.
The soils consist of a mixed mixture of sand and clay, in which there are espalier vines, whose type of training is guyot. The location of the vineyards is strategic; a natural gorge favors ventilation from the Mediterranean. The winds come mainly from the Gulf of Gela (Libeccio and Ponente) and also at certain times of the year from the Iblei Mountains, which caress the vines, naturally warding off pests and insects. The property is surrounded by centuries-old olive trees, peach, plum, cherry, orange, lemon, tangerine, almond, prickly pear and fig trees.
The territory of Caltagirone, within the famous and beautiful Val di Noto, is known to have welcomed the ancient Greeks, who came through the then navigable rivers that bordered the vineyards. It was thanks to them that the grapevine and the techniques of its cultivation were exported to Mediterranean countries. The Agriresort is located 40 minutes from Comiso Airport and 50 minutes from Catania Airport, within a precious Sicilian territory that includes Caltagirone and the Val di Noto, two jewels set in the beautiful setting of Sicily.

Our agritourism in Caltagirone offers 3 bright and spacious rooms and one apartment, equipped with wonderful views of the vineyards and hills. Comfortable and refined, they carry the fine native wines of the Judeka Winery, which tell the story of our much-loved territory.
Every morning, in the breakfast area, you will be greeted by a delicious breakfast, prepared with organic raw materials selected from our garden, which includes a wide selection of fruits, cold cuts and typical cheeses, as well as the classic sweet proposals of the traditional Italian breakfast.
Our resort in Sicily offers a wonderful terrace with a view of the lush vineyards, where you can take your time to relax in the comfortable solarium and enjoy magnificent views, harmonious sounds of nature and the fresh, fragrant country air, while sipping a fine glass of wine or tasting a rich selection of local ingredients.
The Judeka resort in Sicily hosts a large and bright main hall where you can relax and admire the extraordinary view of the baglio. In addition, upon request, the hall can host parties and private events, giving you a refined experience.

Upon request, it is possible to take advantage of a reliable baby parking to enjoy in privacy the emotional experiences offered by the facility, visit the chicken coop and the 40 friendly hens, collect their eggs and taste them, participate in guided hiking trails, outdoor yoga classes immersed in the green countryside and sports activities in the vineyard followed by a personal trainer, all by reservation.
In addition, it is possible to request a transfer service for possible transfers to neighboring urban centers or to the airport of Comiso and Catania.

Philosophy and Sustainability
We at Judeka Agriresort strongly believe in the values of environmental sustainability, its circularity and the social generativity of businesses.
That is why we have created an oasis of peace completely powered by green energy, creating a harmonious and respectful balance between man and nature.
The principle of "circularity" lays its foundation on recycling but especially on reuse. Wastewater from the winery, kitchen and rooms is treated through artificial phyto-purification ponds and later used for irrigation of the vineyards.
A 125kwh photovoltaic system, powers the entire agriresort, exceeding the winery's current needs.
A Reverse Osmosis water purification plant allows water to be purified, without any use of additives harmful to the environment, and then used in winery processes and for domestic use.
